Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a senior Investor Relations professional to help define and execute the global IR program. You’ll support inquiries, develop strategic investor messaging, and prepare earnings materials while partnering with executives to advance the IR strategy.

You’ll build expertise across AI technologies and CRM tools, coordinate with teams for senior management communications, and help manage investor conferences and roadshows. A finance background with SaaS experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance, FP&A, investment management/research, investment banking, capital markets, or related fields preferred but not required.
• Four-year degree in accounting, finance, or economics preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience breaking down complex ideas for different audiences.
• Ability to drive alignment with senior management.
• Willingness to travel multiple weeks per year.
• SaaS business model experience preferred but not required.
• Creativity and collaboration across teams.
• Ambition to learn rapidly, fueled by curiosity about the company, financials, and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key support to the IR team in responding to investor and analyst inquiries, potentially becoming a co-spokesperson.
• Partner with the IR team to build a best-in-class IR program.
• Collaborate with executives to create strategic investment messages and investor materials.
• Assist in preparing earnings call materials, slides, talking points, and Q&A documents.
• Build internal expertise across AI technologies and product areas.
• Coordinate with other functions for senior management communications.
• Develop and maintain IR databases, investor targeting lists, and CRM tools.
• Monitor sell-side research, investor sentiment, and competitive intelligence.
• Develop AI workflows to ingest industry telemetry and automate workflows for IR.
• Support logistics for investor conferences and analyst days.
• Conduct financial modeling and benchmarking analyses to support narrative.
