Job summary

Teachers Federal Credit Union seeks an Investment Services Support Specialist to provide sales and business development support for licensed investment product sales reps. The role handles customer service, account changes, help with new accounts, and order processing under licensed reps guidance.

Responsibilities include maintaining referrals, coordinating appointments, collaborating on financial plans, and managing multiple CRMs. Strong CRM, Excel, and Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of financial service industry experience required.
• Intermediate CRM knowledge required.
• Life & Health Insurance License preferred.
• FINRA Series 6 or 7 & 66 Registered preferred.
• Notary Public preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists TruStage Advisors and external and internal partners with transactions.
• Maintains a sales and referral database and uses telemarketing and customer profiling to generate leads and additional business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Coordinates referrals, sales appointments, and requests for information.
• Collaborates with advisors and clients to help design, implement, and monitor financial plans.
• Assists with opening accounts, entering annuity orders, setting up move money requests, systematic trades, RMDs, & settled trades.
• Tracks all client updates and interactions in multiple CRMs, as well as assign and complete client-related tasks.
• Manages calendars and schedule client meetings for TruStage Advisors.
• Troubleshoots tasks and acts as liaison between LPL and financial investment companies for client/prospect related issues and service requests.
• Keeps advisor informed of all retail branch events and activities and participates when appropriate.
• Coordinates and attends special events, meeting, and seminars.
• Assists in preparation and review of marketing collateral by proofing for content, disclosures, and accuracy.
• Remains current and knowledgeable of Teachers products, services, and promotions to advocate to members during interactions.
• Assists in program reporting on a monthly basis.
• Complies with NCUA and FINRA requirements.
• Orders promotional items, display, and program marketing materials (via LPL MOD), ensuring they are up-to-date.
• Complies with all regulatory rules, written desktop procedures and company policies.
• Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor.
