Job summary

Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, IA invites an Investment Operations Analyst to join our Custom Investment Operations team. You’ll perform daily trading controls, onboarding investments, trade reconciliation and reporting to ensure accurate, timely processing and strong partnerships across the organization.

With 3+ years in accounting/finance, a bachelor’s in a related field, and solid analytical and problem-solving skills, you’ll lead processes, support system enhancements, and

Qualifications

3+ years of accounting, finance or economics experience (or equivalent).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting/finance/economics/business preferred.
Experience in investment/mutual fund operations helpful.

Responsibilities

Independently implement and resolve reconciliation problems between recordkeeping, accounting, broker/dealer and/or pricing system.
Onboard and maintain investment offerings for trading readiness.
Initiate and lead conversations with internal/external partners to resolve inquiries/issues.
Support team effectiveness through knowledge transfer and collaboration.
Participate in projects and system improvements.
