Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in investment operations, credit operations, or related financial services.
• Strong experience with CLOs, syndicated loans, private credit or structured credit.
• Experience leading or developing team members.
• Hands-on understanding of loan servicing, trade settlements, and reconciliations.
• Experience with external counterparties (banks, trustees, custodians, brokers) and with related platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day investment operations across CLOs, syndicated loans, bonds, and other credit investments.
• Oversee reconciliations, investigate breaks, and drive issue resolution.
• Manage loan servicing activities including fundings, paydowns, rollovers, rate resets, and amortization.
• Coordinate corporate actions like amendments, extensions, refinancings.
• Support CLO operations including trustee relationships and waterfall validation.
• Partner with agent banks, custodians, administrators, and internal teams.
• Develop and mentor team members to improve workflows and processes.
• Track operational issues and implement scalable improvements.
• Support onboarding of new investments and counterparties.

We’re partnering with a leading global alternative investment management firm on an Investment Operations Manager opportunity supporting its Credit platform. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant exposure to CLOs, syndicated bank loans, bonds, structured credit, and other credit investments, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who has built their career in credit operations, loan administration, corporate trust, middle office, or investment operations.

The Manager will oversee day-to-day investment operations and reconciliation activity while leading and developing team members and partnering closely with investment professionals, agent banks, trustees, administrators, custodians, and counterparties. The role combines people management with hands-on problem solving around loan activity, settlements, cash and position breaks, CLO operations, and complex transaction events.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day investment operations across CLOs, syndicated bank loans, bonds, structured products, and other credit investments
• Oversee cash and position reconciliations, investigate breaks and discrepancies, and drive issues through resolution
• Manage bank-loan servicing activity including fundings, paydowns, rollovers, rate resets, interest, spreads, maturities, and amortization schedules
• Coordinate loan amendments, extensions, repricings, refinancings, and other corporate actions
• Support CLO operations, including trustee relationships, payment activity, waterfall validation, warehouse-to-CLO reconciliations, and new CLO launches
• Partner with agent banks, collateral managers, administrators, custodians, brokers, counterparties, and internal investment teams
• Oversee and develop internal and external team members, helping prioritize workflows, resolve escalated issues, and strengthen operating processes
• Track operational breaks and recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement process improvements that improve accuracy and scalability
• Support onboarding of new investments, portfolios, counterparties, and operational processes

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in investment operations, credit operations, loan operations, middle office, corporate trust, CLO administration, or a related financial services environment
• Strong experience with syndicated bank loans, CLOs, private credit, leveraged loans, structured credit, or similar fixed-income products
• Prior experience leading, supervising, or developing team members is required
• Hands-on understanding of loan servicing, trade settlement, cash and position reconciliation, and operational break resolution
• Experience working with agent banks, trustees, custodians, fund administrators, brokers, or other external counterparties
• Experience with Bloomberg and trading, settlement, loan administration, or portfolio accounting platforms
• Advent Geneva experience is a plus
• Familiarity with credit agreements, loan notices, indentures, or other credit-related legal documentation is helpful
