WhiteCap Workforce Solutions is seeking an Associate, CLO Operations for a leading financial firm in New York, NY. The role involves managing the CLO lifecycle, working with legal counsel, trustees, and managers to ensure accurate documentation and efficient closings.

The candidate will oversee custody of collateral, monitor consent and compliance, and support reporting packages and cash movements within CLO portfolios. Strong Excel skills and finance background are essential.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in CLO operations, structured credit operations, loan operations, fund administration, trustee services, or related credit investment operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Trading and Portfolio Management teams to resolve settlement exceptions, allocation issues, and operational discrepancies.
• Monitor loan lifecycle events including amendments, restructurings, refinancings, paydowns, distributions, and corporate actions.

Our client, a leading financial firm, is looking for an Associate, CLO Operations to start right away.

Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities

• Manage operational activity throughout the full CLO lifecycle, including warehousing, new issue closings, refinancing, reset transactions, reinvestment periods, and liquidation events.
• Coordinate CLO closings and post-closing activities alongside legal counsel, trustee banks, portfolio managers, and administrative service providers.
• Maintain CLO governing documents, indentures, compliance requirements, and transaction documentation.

Portfolio & Trade Operations

• Oversee trade capture, settlement, and reconciliation for syndicated loans, bonds, and structured credit investments held within CLO portfolios.
• Partner with Trading and Portfolio Management teams to resolve settlement exceptions, allocation issues, and operational discrepancies.
• Monitor loan lifecycle events including amendments, restructurings, refinancings, paydowns, distributions, and corporate actions.

Trustee & Administrator Oversight

• Serve as the primary point of contact for trustees, collateral administrators, and fund administrators.
• Review monthly trustee reports, payment waterfalls, asset schedules, coverage tests, and compliance calculations.
• Validate portfolio information, principal proceeds, interest proceeds, and liability reporting prior to payment dates.

Compliance & Risk Monitoring

• Monitor CLO indenture compliance, including collateral quality tests, concentration limits, weighted average metrics, and coverage tests.
• Escalate potential compliance breaches and partner with Portfolio Managers to evaluate remediation strategies.
• Support internal audit, regulatory, investor, and rating agency requests.

Cash Management & Reporting

• Oversee CLO cash movements, payment processing, distribution reconciliations, and waterfall validations.
• Prepare and review management reporting packages covering portfolio activity, CLO liabilities, performance metrics, and key risk indicators.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data delivered to investors, management, auditors, and external stakeholders.

Financing & Capital Markets Support

• Support CLO issuance, refinancing, and reset transactions through coordination with underwriters, arrangers, legal counsel, and service providers.
• Assist in modeling transaction economics and analyzing liability structures.
• Maintain relationships with financing counterparties and market participants.

Process Improvement & Technology

• Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, controls, automation, and reporting processes.
• Partner with technology and data teams to improve portfolio accounting, compliance monitoring, and reporting infrastructure.
• Assist with implementation and optimization of systems supporting structured credit and CLO operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in CLO operations, structured credit operations, loan operations, fund administration, trustee services, or related credit investment operations.
• Understanding of CLO structures, payment waterfalls, reinvestment criteria, coverage tests, and collateral management.
• Experience working with syndicated loans and structured credit products.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic investment environment.
