Job summary

Dartmouth Partners seeks an Associate for its Tax-Driven Investments team. The role offers ownership across the investment lifecycle, including evaluation, modeling, due diligence, structuring, and execution, within a lean, growing platform.

The Associate will collaborate with senior professionals, contribute to portfolio management, and help build out a growing tax-driven investment platform with strategic tax benefits for the organization.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant transaction experience
• Direct exposure to investment structuring and execution preferred
• Experience with tax credits (ITCs, PTCs, transferable credits) is highly desirable
• Background in renewable energy, project finance, or structured finance is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new tax-driven investment opportunities with detailed financial analysis.
• Build and review financial models to support underwriting and decisions.
• Coordinate due diligence across financial, commercial, investment and tax aspects.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating tax credit and tax equity transactions.
• Manage transaction processes from evaluation to closing.
• Collaborate with Legal, Tax, Treasury, Risk and Accounting teams and external counterparties.
• Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and presentation to senior stakeholders.
