Job summary

BDO USA, a leading professional services firm, seeks an Associate in its Capital Advisors team to support tax equity, tax credit transfers, and project finance transactions across renewable energy and related sectors.

You will conduct financial and business due diligence, review data room materials, summarize findings, and assist with client deliverables while coordinating with internal and external advisors to progress deals to closing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics required.
• MBA preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to prepare client-ready materials.

Responsibilities

• Support tax equity, tax credit transfer and project finance advisory engagements.
• Perform due diligence, data room reviews and issue identification.
• Analyze client financials to identify trends, working capital, liabilities and risks.
• Draft diligence reports, presentations and client materials.
• Coordinate with external professionals for deal execution and milestones.
• Maintain engagement workplans, trackers and status updates.
• Assist with market research, pipeline tracking and marketing materials.
• Support business development through proposals and networking.
