The Investment Associate role is in the sourcing team at BDev Ventures, responsible for sourcing great startups, presenting deal opportunities to leadership, and facilitating the beginning of a possible investment. BDev Ventures was founded a couple of years ago by the same visionary team behind BairesDev, the world's fastest‑growing technology solutions company and the largest 100% bootstrapped IT services company in history. BDev Ventures' mission is to support high‑growth‑potential B2B startups to become world‑class organizations.

What you will do:

• Source great startups that fit our investment criteria.
• Develop initial relationships with startups and work together with leadership to pursue potential investment opportunities.
• Represent BDev Ventures in the startup ecosystem, building relationships and promoting our brand.
• Use outstanding communication skills to present to and influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Create frequent reviews and reports with financial data.

• Experience working in venture capital or directly with startups in an adjacent industry (e.g. accelerator).
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
