Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks a hands-on Application Engineering Agile Room Lead (Vice President) to drive modernization of a large-scale Investment Accounting platform. You will lead a distributed team, architect toward microservices and cloud-enabled solutions, and partner with business stakeholders across global locations.

You will guide Agile delivery, ensure production readiness, and mentor engineers while pushing for technical excellence and operational resilience in a financial services

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience developing enterprise applications and large-scale data processing solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software engineering team responsible for enhancing and supporting a business-critical portfolio accounting and middle-office application.
• Drive modernization initiatives, evolving a Windows-based Visual C++ platform toward a modern distributed architecture with web-based UIs and Java-based services.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver strategic technology solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Translate requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Oversee design, development, production readiness, and operational stability.
• Lead Agile delivery activities across global teams.
• Mentor engineers and foster technical excellence.
• Communicate technology strategy and risks to senior leadership.
