Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC in South Miami seeks an Investment Accounting & Performance Manager to own the investment-side accounting, performance reporting, and related operations.

Reporting to SVP, Portfolio Oversight, you will oversee outsourced administrator activities, coordinate with custodians and advisors, and drive process improvements using analytics and automation.

This hybrid role offers complex, institutional exposure within a sophisticated family office environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in investment accounting, performance, and/or investment operations.
• Experience within an allocator environment such as a family office, endowment, foundation, or similar investment organization strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of alternative investments across multiple structures and strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investment accounting and performance activities performed by the outsourced Administrator
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of investment transactions, valuations, and performance
• Review and analyze investment performance reporting and accounting calculations
• Review investment fund financial statements and monitor portfolio activity
• Oversee investment-related cash activity and daily/monthly reconciliations
• Partner with custodians, investment advisors, and the Administrator on account openings, asset transfers, and other investment operations
• Support annual audit and investment-related tax processes, including K-1s and 1099s
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, reporting, and controls
• Leverage data analytics, automation, AI, and technology to improve efficiency and scalability

A highly successful family officeis seeking a Manager, Investment Accounting & Performance to join its investment team. Reporting directly to the SVP, Portfolio Oversight, this individual will have ownership of the firm’s investment-side accounting, performance reporting, and related investment operations.

Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite
