Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a Confidential Family Office in Miami. This high-impact role leads investment accounting, performance reporting, and portfolio operations within a lean accounting team.

Key duties include overseeing outsourced administration, ensuring data accuracy, coordinating with custodians and investment advisors, supporting quarterly reporting and the annual audit, and driving process improvements with emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA and/or CFA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in investment accounting, performance, or investment operations.
• Strong experience with alternative investments (PE, VC, RE, hedge funds, SMAs, etc.).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced investment administration, including investment accounting, transaction processing, valuations, and performance reporting.
• Review investment accounting and performance data for accuracy.
• Monitor investment-related cash activity, reconciliations, transfers, and portfolio operations.
• Partner with custodians, investment advisors, and administrators.
• Review financial statements and support quarterly reporting.
• Support annual audit, tax reporting, K-1s, 1099s.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Leverage emerging technologies to improve efficiency.
