Job summary

Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services seeks an Administrative Review Manager to oversee investigations into abuse, neglect and mistreatment of DDS recipients. You will supervise administrative reviews, develop action plans, monitor CRT processes, and ensure timely documentation in HCSIS, with collaboration across Area Offices.

The role requires strong organizational, writing, and data-management skills, plus experience with HCSIS and DDS hierarchies.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in Human Services.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Services, or related field.
• Highly effective organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Proficient with data management and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of DDS management hierarchy and functionality.
• Ability to be tactful and diplomatic with DDS employees, provider staff, families, and others.
• Ability to navigate the HCSIS web base and run reports.
• Ability to apply conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative reviews and produce action plans for investigations.
• Attend Area Offices CRT meetings and monitor process work for completion, timelines, and quality.
• Facilitate regular meetings, provide guidance and problem solving.
• Assess trends and report findings to Regional Director.
• Monitor Incident Management in HCSIS.
• Monitor CPPD entries in HCSIS.
• Serve as liaison between Area Office and DDS Investigations Unit and related teams.
• Provide training to DDS offices and staff.
• Serve on the Regional Mortality Review Committee.
• Review CPPD Reconsideration requests.
• Other duties as assigned.
