and international teams, supporting prototype builds, design changes, and manufacturing launches. You will create 3D models, drawings, and BOMs, gain experience with CAE tools, and contribute to cost reductions while ensuring performance, quality, and manufacturability throughout

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• At least 1 year of 3D mechanical design experience.
• SolidWorks proficiency required.
• Experience with GD&T and BOM structures.
• Able to read 2D drawings and schematics.
• Strong communication and project coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and manage engineering activities for multiple inverter-related projects to ensure objectives are achieved within defined timelines.
• Facilitate accurate and timely technical communication for inverter programs between U.S. design teams, manufacturing sites, and suppliers.
• Collaborate with U.S. and Japan Design Engineering organizations on design improvements, validation, and production launches for xEV inverters.
• Create and update 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, CAE data, and other specifications to support design changes.
• Maintain and revise BOMs and schematic drawings to ensure accurate configurations.
• Provide on-site engineering support at inverter manufacturing locations during prototype, sample, and mass production phases.
• Support product validation testing and engineering deliverables during development.
• Investigate and help resolve production-related issues to improve manufacturability and reliability.
• Support cost reduction activities to lower production costs while preserving quality.
• Contribute to new product development by applying mechanical design principles with cross-functional teams.
