Job summary

BMZ USA, Inc. seeks an Inventory Specialist to keep production flowing by managing material flow, replenishing mini-markets, and recording inventory and WIP transactions. You will execute moves in QuickBooks and ensure accurate inventory across warehouse operations.

The role requires at least 2 years in inventory control, proficiency with QuickBooks, and strong attention to detail. Candidates should be comfortable with warehouse tasks, safety protocols, and lean practices in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of inventory control experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or material handling environment required.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office products.
• Experience using computer-based inventory management systems; QuickBooks or D365 preferred.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with kanban and mini-market systems, or lean manufacturing.
• Experience with WIP transactions, component staging, or production support roles.
• Prior work in regulated or quality-controlled manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams to support inventory accuracy and efficient order fulfillment.
• Monitor inventory levels including replenishment from production and restocking mini-markets.
• Perform accurate Work-In-Progress movements and transactions in QuickBooks inventory systems.
• Transfer raw materials, components, and finished goods between warehouse, production, quality, and engineering areas.
• Monitor component stock levels, identify shortages, and communicate replenishment needs to prevent delays.
• Maintain organized and labeled bins in mini-markets and production lines with correct quantities and part numbers.
• Complete inventory moves in QuickBooks to support inventory integrity.
• Perform routine cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and support reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Coordinate closely with assembly line workers and production supervisors.
• Adhere to 5S standards; keep aisles clean; remove trash; support safe warehouse operations.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, put-away, pallet organization, and other daily tasks.
• Adhere to plant safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Other duties and projects as assigned by Logistics Supervisor.
