Wabash is seeking a Material Control professional to coordinate the distribution of materials for production. The role involves storing and issuing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely data entry in ERP systems.

The ideal candidate will manage cycle and annual inventories, collaborate with purchasing and engineering to resolve issues, and support Kanban and lean initiatives while upholding safety standards and housekeeping across storage areas.

Formación

• Minimum education includes high school diploma; additional degrees are valued.
• Experience with SAP ERP is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety measures and lean practices (5S) is beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare production materials per work orders and issue to the floor.
• Maintain physical inventory and records for all parts and materials.
• Update ERP with inventory data to ensure accurate reporting.
• Conduct cycle and annual inventories as scheduled.
• Coordinate with purchasing and engineering to resolve material shortages.
• Support Kanban systems and lean initiatives.
• Ensure safe forklift operation and compliance with safety policies.
• Maintain clean, organized storage areas.
