Job summary

You will audit inventory, reconcile discrepancies, and partner with production, logistics, and procurement to optimize material flow and minimize downtime. This role requires accuracy, ERP experience, and a hands-on approach in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
• 2+ years of inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials coordination.
• Experience with ERP systems (IFS preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational, data accuracy, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, report root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records in the ERP system (IFS or equivalent).
• Track raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across production lines and warehouse zones.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound inventory movements with receiving and shipping.
• Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and support reallocation or disposal.
• Support lean manufacturing and 5S principles by maintaining organized inventory areas.
• Provide training to warehouse and production personnel on inventory handling procedures.
• Collaborate with production planners and materials team to optimize inventory levels and minimize downtime.
