Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a Team Lead, Inventory to coordinate warehousing, receiving and shipping activities under the Operations Supervisor.

The role requires mentoring associates, training on SOPs, operating MHE including forklifts, and maintaining safety, quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment. A GED or high school diploma and 1 year of logistics experience are required; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Able to operate MHE; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities and SOPs.
• Oversee unloading inbound shipments, picking and staging outbound shipments per SOPs.
• Ensure accuracy of paperwork with drivers and proper product counting.
• Direct warehouse team to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and compliance with ISO/OSHA standards.
• Assist in scheduling, payroll hours, and overtime planning.
