Job summary

DSV in Manassas, VA is seeking a Team Lead to coordinate and oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and quality control, under the direction of the Operations Supervisor. You will mentor associates, enforce SOPs, manage safety and ISO/OSHA compliance, operate forklifts/MHE, and ensure accurate paperwork and productivity.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and at least one year in logistics.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 1 year in logistics/distribution.
Must be able to operate MHE and forklift.
Forklift certification is required.
Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures and fast-paced environments.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
Basic computer skills and RF scanner knowledge.

Responsibilities

Mentor and train new and existing associates in distribution activities.
Train staff on SOPs including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control.
Assist forklift operation and certification processes.
Oversee unloading and staging of inbound/outbound shipments with accurate paperwork.
Ensure safety, housekeeping, and compliance with ISO/OSHA standards.
Direct warehouse team to meet objectives and manage schedules.
