Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Fredericksburg, USA is seeking a Team Lead, Inventory to coordinate warehousing operations. You will oversee receiving, picking, packing, and shipping, while directing associates to meet productivity and safety goals.

Provide training and ensure quality standards throughout all distribution tasks. You will mentor staff, verify inbound/outbound paperwork, and maintain accurate records, with emphasis on safety and ISO/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE and forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new/existing associates on distribution tasks and SOPs.
• Oversee unloading inbound shipments and staging outbound shipments per SOPs.
• Communicate professionally with customers and prepare activity reports for site management.
• Perform quality control to ensure correct receipt/shipment of products; report discrepancies.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance with ISO, OSHA standards; participate in safety meetings.
• Direct warehouse team to meet productivity, payroll, and schedule objectives.
• Participate in department meetings; identify and resolve non-conformities.
• Operate equipment (sit-down/stand-up forklift, reach truck, etc.) and ensure certification.
