Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a Warehouse Operator, Inventory Team Lead to coordinate daily warehousing activities, including receiving, picking, packing and shipping under the direction of the Operations Supervisor.

The role emphasizes training new and existing associates, maintaining safety and quality standards, and delivering accurate inventory and performance reports in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising warehouse operations and teams.
• Proficient in receiving, shipping, picking, and quality control processes.
• Knowledge of ISO, OSHA/MSDS safety standards.
• Ability to mentor and train associates.
• Strong accuracy in paperwork and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates in distribution activities to meet customer demands.
• Train associates on shipping, receiving, picking and quality control SOPs.
• Oversee unloading, stacking, and loading of shipments and verify inbound/outbound paperwork.
• Ensure accurate loading according to doors and trailers; resolve discrepancies in shipping/receiving.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and prepare activity reports.
• Verify product quality, document damages and discrepancies, and ensure correct labeling.
• Direct warehouse team, assist with scheduling and payroll hour capture.
• Participate in safety meetings and enforce company safety protocols.
