Job summary

DSV Lithia Springs, USA is seeking a Warehouse Operator, Inventory Team Lead to coordinate daily warehouse activities, supervise associates, and ensure efficient receiving, storage, and shipping in line with service and cost objectives.

Responsibilities include training, shipping/receiving, quality control, safety, labor management, and reporting. This role requires adherence to SOPs and collaboration with the Operations Supervisor to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new and existing associates on distribution activities in line with customer demands.
• Train staff on Standard Operating Procedures including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control.
• Assist in forklift operation and certification for new and existing associates.
• Oversee unloading of inbound shipments, organize product, and stage outbound shipments per SOPs.
• Verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers and ensure accurate counts.
• Load orders efficiently according to doors and trailers.
• Identify discrepancies in shipping and receiving processes.
• Maintain professionalism in communications with customers.
• Prepare accurate activity reports for site management.
• Verify product quality and document damages or discrepancies; assist in packaging and labeling.
