Job summary

Lakeshirts, inc. is seeking a Team Lead – Puller to provide hands-on leadership for Inventory staff. You will organize daily work, coach team members, and help achieve safety, quality, and production goals.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with flexibility for workload. Join a team-driven culture with benefits and opportunities for growth, while maintaining performance boards and daily performance reviews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to assess needs, prioritize work, communicate effectively, and lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurate counting skills and the ability to understand order forms and inventory documentation.
• Self-directed, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office products.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods. Train the Trainer and LEAD workshop completion preferred within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily workflow, assign priorities, review performance, and motivate the team.
• Ensure safety, 6S, quality, and company standards are followed.
• Manage cycle counts, adjustments, transfers, and discrepancies in inventory control.
• Update hour-by-hour performance boards and participate in GEMBA walks to observe and improve.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly standard work and identify efficiency improvements.
• Conduct daily team check-ins and report performance to the Inventory Supervisor.
• Collaborate with the supervisor on employee concerns, reviews, and raises.
• Provide timely training on responsibilities, safety, and policy; support cross-department projects.
