Job summary

Lippert, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking an Inventory Team Leader to oversee the inventory group and ensure the integrity of the perpetual inventory program. You will support production to ensure on-time delivery of quality products.

You will plan and conduct physical inventories with the Inventory Control Leader, enforce 5S, Lean, and safety policies, and drive continuous improvement while developing future leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control and production support.
• Familiarity with Lean and 5S methodologies.
• Ability to drive process improvements and develop future leaders.

Responsibilities

Summary/Objective

Responsible for overseeing the Inventory Team and ensures the integrity of company Perpetual Inventory Program. Production support to ensure on time customer delivery of a quality product. Plans and conducts Physical Inventory with Inventory Control Leader. Ensures 5S, Lean, and all safety policies by following established operating procedures. Responsible for continuous improvement concerning processes and team members and developing future leaders and succession plan. Responsible for leading the team; promoting and ensuring compliance to company's Core Values, Mission Statement and Leader qualities. Adhering to LCI's company policies and safety regulations.

Essential Functions

1. Ensures inventory team members comply with company safety protocol.
2. Monitors WIP, Error Log, Exception, and runs weekly inventory reports.
3. Participates in evaluations and ensures that policies and adhered to fairly.
4. Assists with conflict resolution when needed.
5. Provides data to the Inventory Control Leader for Division Metrics.
