Job summary

PS Seasoning is seeking an Inventory Support Specialist to support our fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and contribute to root-cause analyses while upholding GMP and HACCP standards.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Forklift certification is preferred; you must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of cycle-count, warehousing or material handling experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Proficient with Excel; comfortable with inventory systems and data entry.
• Forklift certification preferred or required to obtain certification if hired.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and scheduled inventory audits.
• Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies by assessing variances from system records.
• Conduct root cause analyses to prevent recurring issues.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on proper inventory control practices and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, personal hygiene standards, HACCP, and all applicable quality and safety regulations.
• Complete ad hoc inventory-related tasks as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• General computer literacy, including comfort with inventory systems and data entry
• 1-3 years of cycle-count, warehousing, or material handling experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong mathematical and analytical capability
• Forklift Certification Preferred (required to obtain certification if hired)
• Ability to lift 50lb on an occasional basis
• Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
• Self-motivated and goal driven with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well with a team
