Description
As an Inventory Control Specialist - you are responsible for assisting in the organization of the main inventory warehouse, providing daily cycle counting of finished goods, updating inventory within the company’s CRM, resolving inventory issues, & assisting with order fulfillment when necessary. You need to be detail-oriented, well-organized, work quickly, be able to multi-task, & proactively solve problems. You will use systems such as Outlook, Syteline, Excel, & Word, to ensure accurate inventory information
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the organization of main inventory warehouse.
- Maintain, track, & report inventory data, perform regular physical audits & cycle counts to reconcile actual stock with database records.
- Inputs & creates reports/documents for their functional area to keep track of product movement
- Oversees the receiving of finished goods/materials.
- Manage returned material inventory & repacking when necessary.
- Ensure inventory management objectives are met.
- Communicate inventory issues to Manager.
- Participating in other warehouse support functions as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Strong numerical, mathematical, & analytical skills to manage data, audit stocks, & analyze trends.
- Proactive in identifying potential inventory problems & finding resolutions
- Strong attention to detail/critical thinking capabilities.

- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, databases, & MS Office (especially Excel).
- Communicate & present information at all levels.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, which may involve lifting, scanning, and long periods of standing or walking.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
