Plug Power in Houston, TX is seeking an Inventory Technician responsible for daily cycle counts, maintaining accurate inventory records, and auditing warehouse processes. You will work in a team and independently, demonstrating meticulous accuracy and safety awareness while adapting to scheduling demands.
The role requires heavy lifting, operation of forklifts, ERP usage (Avante), and proficiency with Excel and Word.
Will be responsible for daily cycle counts of product, ensuring accuracy of inventory records, investigating warehouse discrepancies, and performing quality audits of warehouse processes. The selected candidate should have the ability to work both in a team orientated environment as well as independently. This role will require strong attention to detail and meticulous accuracy. The ideal candidate must possess a high degree of flexibility, the ability to competently respond to direction and meet scheduling demands, and the ability to satisfy physical demands of the position. Applicants for this position must be extremely safety conscious. Prior inventory experience is preferred.
