Friends Homes, Inc. is hiring a Stockroom Associate for a full-time day shift to support Dining Services. You will count inventory, stock and rotate supplies, and ensure FIFO across multiple locations, while assisting in kitchen prep and safe handling of cold products.

The role emphasizes organization, reliability, and teamwork in a faith-based community that values dignity and compassion.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand or walk for long periods.
• Read and follow written or verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inventory counts for West and Guilford locations.
• Receive, stock, rotate, and organize food and supplies.
• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures are followed.
• Deliver products to kitchens and departments using carts or dollies.
• Keep stock areas clean, organized, and pest-free.
• Assist in kitchen prep and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Handle products safely in cold environments (refrigerators/freezers).
