Job summary

Friends Homes in Greensboro, NC is hiring a Stockroom Associate to support our Dining Services team. You will perform accurate inventory counts for West and Guilford locations, receive and stock orders, rotate stock, and help keep stock areas clean and organized.

This role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, using basic computer skills for inventory tracking, following FIFO procedures, and working closely with kitchen staff in a faith-based, mission-driven community that values teamwork and

What You’ll Do:

As a Supply Coordinator at Friends Homes, you’ll play a key role in keeping our Dining Services department running smoothly. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing accurate inventory counts for both West and Guilford locations
• Receiving, stocking, rotating, and organizing food and supply orders
• Ensuring all stock follows FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures
• Delivering products to kitchens and other departments using carts or dollies
• Keeping stock areas clean, organized, and pest-free
• Assisting in the kitchen with prep work and cleaning equipment as needed
• Safely handling products in cold environments, including refrigerators and freezers

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for long periods
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions in English

Preferred:

• Prior stockroom, inventory, or food service experience
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
