Job summary

Home Chef seeks an Inventory Control Clerk for the 1st shift in California. Work from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with Sundays and Saturdays off. duties include organizing the warehouse, ensuring FEFO/FIFO, and tracking product movement from receiving to disposition.

Responsibilities also cover assisting with counts, reporting discrepancies to management, and supporting safety and SQF compliance. Must be detail-oriented with strong communication and basic Excel skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to count large quantities and track inventory.
• Forklift certification or ability to be trained.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized warehouse spaces and designate product locations.
• Follow FEFO/FIFO and audit for expired products.
• Record product movement from receiving to cooling areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Support safety programs and GMP compliance.
• Operate pallet jack and stock picker as needed.
