Job summary

The role requires high school completion or equivalent experience and involves FIFO storage and labeling of products. Responsibilities include maintaining storerooms and coolers per safety standards, assisting cooks and retail areas, and participating in inventory with the food and nutrition team.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent experience required.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data/logs.

Responsibilities

• Receive supply orders and verify HACCP compliance; ensure correct temps and log documentation.
• Store items using FIFO; label and date with manufacture/receiving dates.
• Maintain storerooms, freezers and coolers to HACCP and Life Safety standards.
• Assist with gathering items for cooks and retail areas for prep.
• Sweep, mop storerooms and maintain clean cooler racks and carts.
• Demonstrate safety knowledge and locate SDS and PPE; report fires as needed.
• Participate in inventory with chefs; count and record supplies.
• Gather floor stocks and requisitions to outpatient areas when needed.
