Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. is seeking a Detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to manage procurement and inventory processes in our Oklahoma operations. You will monitor inventory levels, review POs, and coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 1–3 years of similar experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication and analytical abilities. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in a similar position.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products.

• Experience in supply chain management and coordinating with warehouses/logistics providers.
• Provide high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Have full understanding of the supply chain processes related to procurement/inventory management.
• Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions.
• Promote effective communication between customers and suppliers regarding production demand.
• Train team members on inventory control best practices.
• Monitor SCM activity with shipments, container status, and delivery control to customers.
• Review and approve purchase orders based on POs, forecasts, inventory levels, safety stock, and lead times for high-dollar items.
• Lead negotiations with customers and suppliers to resolve deadstock issues and supply chain problems.
• Analyze monthly reports related to inventory aging and freight cost issues; develop corrective actions.
• Provide explanations and countermeasures for management reports.
• Support other sales & administrative staff and participate in other projects as needed.
