Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Procurement & Logistics professional to manage RELEX workflows, optimize inventory levels, and collaborate across teams to ensure on-shelf availability and efficient product movement.

In this hybrid role, you will work with vendors and internal stakeholders to improve DOS, reduce obsolescence, and support forecast-driven decisions in a dynamic U.S. market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics or related business field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of demand management and supply chain processes.
• RELEX knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all RELEX daily, weekly, monthly workflows to achieve service level targets.
• Monitor and ensure timely execution of planned product allocations.
• Analyze system exceptions for root causes.
• Manage inventory to achieve DOS, obsolete, and product freshness targets.
• Execute and monitor purchase orders on time and in full.
• Collaborate with Advantage team and Demand Systems Specialists on vendor efficiency programs.
• Develop plans to address overstocks and excess inventory in collaboration with Merchandising.
• Coordinate with suppliers, Quality Control, Supply Chain operations, stores and Risk Management to address availability and recalls.
• Stay informed on supplier issues affecting category sales and adjust orders accordingly.
• Explain forecast variances to Forecast Analysts and inform marketing strategies.
