Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an Inventory/Supply Chain Planner to optimize product flow, manage DOS, OSA, and vendor performance, leveraging Relex daily. This role interfaces with vendor supply chain partners and brand teams.

The position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with 3 in-person days and 2 remote days. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; bachelor's degree and 0–3 years relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics or related business field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0-3 years of experience in supply chain or inventory roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Relex workflows daily/weekly/monthly to meet service level targets.
• Monitor and ensure timely execution of planned product allocations.
• Analyze system exceptions for root cause.
• Manage inventory to achieve DOS, obsolescence, and freshness targets.
• Execute and monitor purchase orders with on-time and in-full metrics.
• Collaborate with Advantage team and Demand Systems Specialists on vendor efficiency programs.
• Develop plans to address overstocks and excess inventory with Merchandising.
• Coordinate with suppliers, QA, Supply Chain ops, stores, and Risk Management on availability and recalls.
• Stay informed on supplier issues affecting category sales and adapt orders accordingly.
• Work with Forecast Analysts to explain forecast variance and marketing impacts.
