Job summary

Kuehne Nagel is seeking an Inventory Supervisor in the United States to maintain accurate inventory records, lead and train teams, and coordinate cycle counts and annual inventories. You will investigate discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and support cross-functional operations to ensure delivery accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, leadership experience, and proficiency with WMS and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
• 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory reporting tools.
• 2 years of WMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures.
• Perform daily activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ensure daily cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Document all inventory adjustments for records.
• Provide training to Inventory Team as needed.
• Train other Operations departments to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile inventory and coordinate annual physicals.
• Collaborate on loss prevention initiatives.
• Build a recovery program for inventory controls.
• Oversee inventory quality and generate weekly/monthly reports.
• Support Operations in other areas as needed.
• Act as the main contact for discrepancies and investigations.
• Coordinate with on-site customer representatives for smooth operations.
