Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking an Inventory Supervisor to join our Contract Logistics team in the United States. You will maintain accurate inventory records, verify orders, and ensure cycle counts are conducted with precision, addressing discrepancies and driving continuous improvement.

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you will lead a small team, develop training, oversee quarterly counts, and support loss prevention initiatives while aligning with customer requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in inventory management, inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations.
• 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or employee training experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and inventory reporting tools.
• 2+ years of Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.

Responsibilities

• Create efficient inventory management procedures and processes.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and verify orders.
• Ensure cycle counts are planned and discrepancies investigated.
• Oversee inventory adjustments and document actions.
• Provide training to Inventory Team and other operations.
• Coordinate annual physical inventory procedures.
• Assist in loss prevention program implementation.
