Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Greenfield, Indiana is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to lead our contract logistics inventory function. You will oversee cycle counts, maintain accurate stock levels, and drive corrective actions for defective products while fostering a continuous improvement mindset.

You will build an empowered team, implement loss prevention and KPI-driven processes, and collaborate with HR to promote DEI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in a distribution environment.
• 5+ years in an inventory role.
• 3+ years in a leadership position.
• 3+ years of WMS experience.
• CPIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead an inventory team, train staff, evaluate performance, and guide development.
• Ensure cycle counts and accuracy of inventory; manage discrepancies and corrective actions.
• Implement loss prevention programs to reduce shrinkage and minimize risk.
• Create SOPs for inventory roles and manage reporting and KPIs.
