Job summary

Targa Resources is seeking an Inventory Specialist to lead inventory management, planning, and reporting for field operations, maintenance, and capital projects. The role oversees warehouse technicians and ensures proper stock replenishment, receiving, storage, and issuance of materials while collaborating with stakeholders to reconcile balances and improve processes.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or 5+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with MS Office, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations Management or 5+ years of equivalent materials management experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years related warehouse/yard experience.
  • Valid driver license and ability to meet vehicle policy.
  • Certification in operating materials handling equipment or forklift certification if needed.
  • MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and experience with materials management systems (Maximo, Oracle).
  • Energy industry experience in warehouse operations and materials management is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Lead warehousing strategies and governance standards for field operations and project demands.
  • Support implementation of warehousing and materials management programs across the enterprise.
  • Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to meet inventory objectives.
  • Plan, design and execute warehousing deployment projects and inventory controls.
  • Track inventory KPIs and provide insights for demand forecasting and supply planning.
