Job summary

Professional Contractor Supply in Las Vegas, NV, seeks an experienced Inventory Manager to lead strategy, forecasting, and performance across a complex, multi-location distribution network. You will own the inventory strategy to ensure right products sit in the right branches to meet demand from contractors and online customers.

The role reports to the VP of Supply Chain, manages over 300,000 SKUs, and requires balancing service levels with carrying costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in inventory management, procurement, or supply chain operations in distribution/wholesale.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• ERP/inventory management system experience; NetSuite preferred.
• Strong Excel skills; Word and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory management policies, procedures, and best practices across PCS locations.
• Monitor inventory levels and demand trends; set reorder points and safety stock levels.
• Balance inventory across locations; coordinate stock transfers and replenishment to meet demand while controlling cost.
• Manage demand forecasting methods; measure forecast accuracy and adjust for seasonality and growth.
• Partner with purchasing to ensure timely, cost-effective procurement aligned to demand.
• Manage item setup, maintenance, and data integrity in NetSuite for accurate records.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts; drive corrective action.
• Build inventory performance reporting and KPIs to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Minimize excess/obsolete inventory via aging analysis and disposition strategies.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory activities with business objectives.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices; recommend process improvements.
• Protect confidentiality of company data; support a positive, inclusive, high-performing work environment.
