Job summary

U‑Haul is hiring an Inventory Control Manager to protect inventory accuracy and product availability across a large Phoenix retail network. This hands-on role owns the day-to-day control loop for retail SKUs, coordinating with field operations, purchasing, and home office to prevent stockouts and data errors.

You will manage min-max and safety-stock parameters, maintain master data, support new location readiness, and lead improvements to POS inventory tools and BI reports.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in inventory control or multi-unit retail supply chain.
• Proven ability to investigate discrepancies and drive corrective action.
• Strong analytics with advanced Excel and ERP/WMS experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication to brief executives.
• High ownership, detail orientation, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory accuracy and manage exception reports; drive root-cause analysis.
• Own min-max, safety-stock parameters and replenishment plans across regions.
• Prepare location openings and remodel inventory readiness documents.
• Develop and improve POS inventory tools and BI reports.
• Provide field support and become SME for U‑Haul inventory policies.
