The University of Tennessee in Memphis seeks a Material Control Clerk to perform clerical tasks for the facilities stockroom, including receiving, verifying, tagging, storing, and issuing maintenance supplies and equipment.

You will participate in the annual physical inventory, drive to vendors to obtain materials, process work orders, and enter data into Archibus while keeping accurate records and secure storage. Some evenings or weekends may be required.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED (transcript required).
• Two years of warehouse operation experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures.
• Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize.

Mansioni

• Receive, verify, tag, store, and issue maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Participate in annual physical inventory and year-end stock checks.
• Drive to vendors to obtain materials for the stockroom.
• Fill requisitions for campus departments.
• Enter data in Archibus and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Lead stockroom in absence of supervisor.
• Notify supervisors of shortages or discrepancies.
• Ensure secure storage of materials and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
