Job summary

Comprehensive Staffing Solutions in Memphis, TN is seeking a Material Handler to maintain inventory, prepare and fulfill orders, and keep the warehouse organized. You will load and unload materials, inspect deliveries, operate forklifts, review pick tickets, package orders, and monitor stock levels while maintaining detailed records.

This role requires prior experience in a similar position, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Materials Handler or in a similar position.
• Valid forklift certification.
• Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Highly organized.
• Ability to meet the physical demands, including lifting heavy objects.
• Availability to work overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials.
• Inspect deliveries to ensure materials meet quality standards.
• Use forklifts and other equipment to optimize organization and storage of stock.
• Review pick tickets and pull material to fulfill orders.
• Package orders and load trucks for delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, order and restock when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of orders, materials, and inventory.
