Job summary

CDW is seeking an Inventory Specialist on a contract, first shift basis in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will ensure inbound logistics accuracy, verify PO vs packing slips, label and store items, and maintain inventory integrity in the warehouse system.

You will also monitor KPIs, manage daily workload, and support cycle counts and audits to drive accuracy and efficiency in a dynamic warehouse environment. This role requires strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to work with

• Demonstrated ability tolift upto 50 lbs. Stand, bend, lift, walk and carry products in any combination for up to 8 hours at a time.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against approved purchase orders and packing slips.
• Assign daily workload and ensure productivity targets are met.
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and storage of received items.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and audits.
• Monitor KPIs such as accuracy, turnaround time, and discrepancy rates.
