Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Inventory Clerk in Chicago, IL. This role is responsible for monitoring inventory accuracy and performing cycle counts to ensure materials are properly accounted for.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in inventory and warehouse management, forklift experience, and strong attention to detail. You will work 6:30am–5:30pm, Monday–Thursday, with overtime and weekends; benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory and warehouse management.
• 1+ years forklift experience.
• CSCP certification is a plus.
• Strong mathematics/statistics knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts.
• Maintain product identification and location programs.
• Verify data with physical stock counts and adjust discrepancies.
• Investigate reasons for discrepancies and report findings.
• Develop practical solutions to minimize errors.
• Communicate with production, planning, and warehouse teams.
• Maintain inventory records in management systems.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and on time.
• Perform daily cycle counts and physical audits.
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklift safely.
• Inspect products and report damage to QC.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Follow GMP and PPE requirements.
• Assist with other inventory projects as directed.
