Job summary

White Cap in Elk Grove Village, IL is hiring an Inventory Control Associate to support inventory accuracy and cycle counts. You will audit stock during daily order processing, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with internal controls in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, forklift experience is a plus, and familiarity with Oracle and construction products.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Inventory/warehouse operations.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Audit inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.
• Research and resolve issues, adjustments and discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Complete follow up to previous inventory adjustments.
• Complete and review cycle counts.
• Receive products from vendors and check for quality.
• Communicate potential quality issues to buyers.
• Maintain inventory control manuals.
