Job Summary

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory in their dispensary. They drive sales by keeping the online and in-store menus updated and stocked. They ensure compliance with AYR policies and regulatory requirements. The Inventory Control Specialist reports to the Retail Inventory Manager and the Dispensary Store Manager.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate counts of all inventories through daily counts and reconciliations as needed.
2. Ensure all products are properly tagged according to regulations and accompanied by necessary paperwork.
3. Reconcile inventory to ensure accurate reporting to the state system and resolve any malfunctions.
4. Keep a clean and organized shop/storage area for easy access to products, sinks, cleaning areas, and workstations.
5. Maintain delivery records and invoices according to company and state regulations.
6. Ensure all items meet quality standards and specifications.
7. Generate purchase orders or transfers to fulfill sales requirements.
8. Run and maintain inventory level reports.

Qualifications

3. Meet age requirements as per state cannabis regulations.
4. Pass all background checks and fingerprinting required by state agencies.
5. Provide valid badging/credentials as required by regulations.

Education

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Equivalent work or education experience accepted.

Experience

1. 1-3 years in a retail environment.

Working Conditions

Work occurs in cultivation and production facilities, with possible odors, noise, temperature fluctuations, and law enforcement interactions. Travel may be required.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform physical movements like bending and reaching.
