Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to join our dealership team.

This role is critical in ensuring the smooth intake and management of incoming vehicle inventory.

Additionally, they will be responsible for moving, cleaning, and maintaining vehicles in optimal condition.

The Inventory Specialist will work with the Used Car Manager to support departmental operations.

Inventory Specialist Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Salary: $21-$23 per hour.

• Generous Paid Time Off (PTO): We prioritize work-life balance, offering industry-leading PTO. New full-time employees accrue 4 hours per pay period, totaling approximately 96 hours in the first year, with increases over time.

• Comprehensive Benefits Package: Starting the first month after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life insurance, disability, and a 401(k) plan.

• Paid Holidays: At least 2 paid holidays per year, subject to completion of the introductory period and other eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Work nights and weekends as needed.
• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and verify the presence of accessories.
• Record damages and missing items on delivery receipts.
• Catalog and store keys and vehicle information packets.
• Upload photos to the system daily.
• Assign stock control numbers to vehicles.
• Process lease returns per guidelines.
• Prepare CPO vehicles for display, ensuring tags and markings are posted.
• Coordinate lot movements with attendants to keep the lot organized.
• Clean interior and exterior of vehicles.
• Start vehicles daily, report issues, and perform light maintenance as needed.
