This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor, the primary responsibility of the Inventory Administrator is to manage and maintain the inventory of microbiological supplies, reagents, and equipment essential for laboratory operations.

This is a safety-sensitive position as defined by state and federal laws, involving work with hazardous materials and/or medicines. It requires compliance with drug and alcohol testing policies, including random tests, and the possession of a medical marijuana license does not exempt you from testing or consequences of a positive result.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain an accurate inventory of lab supplies, equipment, and consumables.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent shortages or excess.
• Organize and label storage areas for efficient access.
• Coordinate with laboratory staff to understand their supply needs.
• Ensure proper storage according to safety guidelines.
• Prepare and process purchase orders.
• Track deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate and share inventory reports.
• Comply with safety and regulatory standards in all inventory activities.

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office setting, requiring attendance at the office and use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and filing systems.

Physical Demands:

• Combination of sedentary and physical activities, including lifting, loading/unloading, walking, and filing.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Full body mobility required.
• Corrected vision and hearing to meet minimum standards.
