Job description

Join to apply for the Inventory Specialist role at Copart.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
  2. Operate camera and utilize handheld inventory devices for processing incoming vehicles.
  3. Determine operational capability of motor vehicles.
  4. Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
  5. Maintain inventory of all materials used.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  7. Document vehicle condition within company standards, including photographs.
  8. Direct traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely processing.
  9. Facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
  • General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate handheld devices preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Driver's license preferred.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
Additional Information
  • Pay range: $22.07 - $24.86
  • Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision, 401k with match, ESPP, EAP, vacation & sick pay, paid holidays, life insurance, and discounts.
  • Position is entry level, full-time, in management and manufacturing within the Motor Vehicle Manufacturing industry.
