A leading retail company is seeking a dedicated inventory management professional to oversee store operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage pharmacy inventory processes. The ideal candidate will have retail experience and strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on training and developing team members.
Responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Supports pharmacy inventory management activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. Champions On-Shelf Availability and manages receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes. Validates and ensures planogram accuracy.
Reviews and coordinates the use of reports and system applications impacting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing. Executes and maintains asset protection techniques, files claims for overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods, including prescription drugs.
In designated stores, opens and closes the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups, cash handling, cashier responsibilities, and preparing the floor and stockroom for business.
Engages customers by greeting and offering assistance. When serving as leader on duty, resolves issues and answers questions to ensure a positive experience. Shares customer service best practices with team members, focusing on interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Executes and coaches team members on inventory management processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders. Manages deliveries, focusing on One Box receiving, and takes appropriate actions for deliveries.
Verifies pharmacy shipments and posts all pharmacy orders, performing tote audits and reporting shortages or damages. Completes On-Shelf Availability processes, including disposals, call-ins, vendor returns, and scan outs.
Under supervision, completes pharmacy inventory activities, including recalls, vendor returns, and transfers. Executes pricing activities, monitors orders, maintains inventory counts, and ensures compliance with laws regarding regulated products.
Supports inventory record maintenance, physical inventory preparation, and store merchandising. Assists with package delivery activities, POS registration, and compliance with policies. Performs additional tasks as assigned.
Attends training sessions, completes e-learning modules, and maintains required certifications or licenses.
Serves as a liaison, coaching team members, communicating tasks, and reporting issues to management.
