Job summary

Sysco in Tolleson, AZ is seeking an Inventory Manager to lead replenishment, maintain inventory levels, and maximize customer service across distribution operations.

You will collaborate with merchandising teams, suppliers and logistics to optimize DSO, manage 2,300–4,000 SKUs, address obsolete stock and shrink, and drive DPR-based performance with dashboards and KPIs, while ensuring timely POs and market responsiveness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 3+ years in Inventory Management or Purchasing within retail/wholesale/distribution.
• Experience with large SKU counts (10,000+ preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels while maximizing customer service levels.
• Manage inventory DSO, aged, obsolete, spoilage and shrink to goals.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams, suppliers and other functions.
• Demonstrate proficiency with DPR to drive performance via KPI dashboards.
• Work with logistics to maximize supply chain efficiencies.
• Collaborate with Inbound Planning to optimize receiving/warehousing.
• Manage SKU count and resolve replenishment issues.
• Execute purchasing of new items and proper system setup.
• Respond to market conditions and seasonal trends for suppliers.
• Understand commodity purchasing dynamics and enterprise initiatives.
